This achievement is especially important because it demonstrates that procurement readiness does not mean attempting to perform every function independently. Rather, it reflects the proficiency to partner and scale for larger opportunities by understanding organizational strengths, recognizing where complementary expertise is needed, and intentionally assembling qualified teams around the client's objectives.

Women Presidents' Organization (WPO)

I travel the world advocating on behalf of women-led organizations regularly. It gives me great pleasure to share insights on the collaborative teaming model we encourage to serve government entities around the world. In the global arena of enterprise and municipal contracting, elite women-operated organizations are increasingly moving past traditional, siloed bidding models — instead utilizing highly integrated teaming constructs and joint ventures to deliver turnkey solutions, collectively pooling case studies, proprietary technology portfolios, and extensive past performance records. From my global perspective overseeing multi-million-dollar, women-led enterprises across the world, I know that the future of complex contract execution relies on this exact model of collaborative agility. Having personally seen Carolyn and her team in action across numerous high-profile convention and meeting settings, I can attest firsthand to their unique ability to execute complex services at the highest possible level. We celebrate Carolyn Howell and Destination Must Visit® Tourism Alliance's exceptional achievement and look forward to witnessing the profound economic and community impact this sophisticated alliance will undoubtedly deliver to the City of College Park, Georgia.

WBEC Metro NY & Greater DMV

On behalf of WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV, I am pleased to congratulate Carolyn E. Howell and Destination Must Visit® Tourism Alliance Incorporated.... This award reflects more than a successful proposal — it recognizes an organizational model designed to deliver the breadth of expertise, leadership, and accountability that today's public-sector clients increasingly require. From my perspective, the City of College Park selected an organizational model that reflects how many of today's highest-performing organizations successfully deliver complex public-sector initiatives: experienced leadership, specialized expertise, disciplined governance, and one organization fully accountable for results. Those are the characteristics that build confidence, strengthen partnerships, and position communities for long-term success. At WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV, we work with thousands of women-owned businesses at every stage of growth. One of the most important lessons we have learned is that organizational capacity — not simply the age of a legal entity — is what determines an organization's ability to successfully perform complex contracts. Mature organizations are distinguished by showcasing their teaming agencies' quality of leadership, strength of their governance, discipline of their operating model, and ability to assemble the right expertise to meet a client's objectives. They do this by sharing their expertise and past performance through storytelling and detailed outcomes of proven best practices during the proposal and procurement process.
